3 days Inner Mekong Delta Tour Ho Chi Minh City

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Chau Doc (L/D)

Commence your Inner Mekong Delta Tour Ho Chi Minh or Saigon Chau Doc with Mekong Delta Travel guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and leave for Cai Be by car/van with stop for photos in Tan An town overlooking the beautiful rice fields. On arrival in Cai Be, you will get on the motorized boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and learn the locals business happening on waterway among their vessels. Then wander into the villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.

You will then go on a boat ride to the island through small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a family business to see how locals make coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn. Keep boating to the other island to visit the traditional house dating 18 century, and have lunch break with local fresh specialties. Take a walk around peaceful fruit garden. Our a/c vehicle transfer to Chau Doc. Check in hotel in Chau Doc on arrival. Have dinner and stay overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 2: Chau Doc – Tra Su Sanctuary – Can Tho (B/L)

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. Today you will get up early to make a boat trip to visit the floating fish farm. Then you will go on discovering the ethnic Cham weaving village. We will drive to the Tra Su Sanctuary to see the wild birds Sanctuary, cruise smoothly with small boat to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest. You may see storks, cranes and other tropical birds. Back to Chau Doc for journey to Can Tho.

After lunch, you will leave Chau Doc for Can Tho. On arrival Can Tho, check in hotel. Have dinner at restaurant. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Phong Dien – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

We will wake up a bit early today for our Inner Mekong Delta Tour Saigon to see both the whole sales and retailed floating markets. You will start for a boat trip to Phong Dien floating market and get your own feeling to take part in or see purchase activity in the floating market with a plenty of local fruits and other goods, which has special character of local people in the Mekong Delta. Keep cruising through the small channels system, stopping off to visit a rice noodle-making village. An experience to go over the ”Monkey Bridge” – a special covering building over channels throughout the Mekong Delta. Then you will visit the second floating market Cai Rang. Back your hotel around 09:00 am. You will have lunch at restaurant.

Pm: Then the driver will transfer you to leave Can Tho and return Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way via Vinh Long you can stop to visit local market where you can see local people buy and sell variety of fruits and vegetables and learn more people here. You are back Ho Chi Minh City at around 5.00 pm. Drop you off hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Tour ends.
